Preparing a team portrait session
Organise a calm portrait day with clear arrangements for clothing, scheduling, arrival and image selection.

For team portraits, the space around the set matters. Colleagues need somewhere to wait, check their clothing and prepare without interrupting the shoot. Look for those areas in the studio photos and ask about the layout.
Choose one visual direction
Decide on the background, framing and mood in advance. For consistent portraits, agree on a fixed setup with the photographer. Share a short clothing brief and explain whether a makeup artist will be there. Ask who provides a mirror, clothes rack and any steaming equipment.
Schedule arrival and photography separately
Ask the photographer how much time each person needs and leave room for preparation and delays. Give every colleague an arrival time and clear directions. A separate waiting area keeps people from walking between the camera and backdrop.
Agree on image selection
Decide whether colleagues choose an image on the day or receive a selection later. Agree who approves the final selection, which retouching is included and when files will be ready. Discuss how a future team member could be photographed in the same style.
